About us
Our story, our mission, our people.
Under Angels Wings (UAW) provides safe, inclusive and person-centred programs that empower children, youth and adults with special needs — and support the families who love them.
Our story
Why UAW was founded
Under Angels Wings (UAW) was founded in response to a growing need within our communities. As the number of children, youth and adults with special needs continues to rise, there remains a significant gap in the availability of quality programs, services and supports to meet the increasing demand. Too many individuals and families are left navigating long waitlists or struggling to find meaningful, personalized care.
UAW was created to help bridge that gap by providing safe, inclusive and person-centred programs that empower individuals to learn, grow and thrive. Our goal is to create opportunities that promote independence, build confidence, foster meaningful relationships and enhance quality of life — while giving families the peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving compassionate, professional support. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to expanding our services so that more individuals and families can access the care and opportunities they deserve.
Mission
Our mission
At Under Angels Wings (UAW), we are dedicated to supporting children, youth and adults with special needs. We provide compassionate, person-centred services that empower individuals to discover their strengths, develop essential life skills and live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Using proven evidence-based practices, we educate, support and advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities while creating opportunities that promote independence, inclusion and personal growth. We believe life is full of possibilities, and our mission is to help every individual access as many of those opportunities as possible.
