Funding & Community Resources
Navigating the world of special needs services can sometimes feel overwhelming. At Under Angels Wings (UAW), we believe families should have easy access to information that can help them find the supports they need. This page serves as a starting point by connecting individuals and families with funding opportunities, government programs, and community services available throughout Ontario.
Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
Income support and employment assistance for adults with disabilities, including health benefits and monthly financial aid.
Passport Funding
Funding for adults with a developmental disability to participate in their communities and access supports that encourage independence.
Special Services at Home (SSAH)
Direct funding for families caring for a child or youth with physical and/or developmental disabilities, helping with respite and daily activities.
Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
Financial help for customized equipment and supplies — such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other assistive technology — for people with long-term physical disabilities.
TransHelp
Specialized, door-to-door public transit for eligible residents in Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga who have disabilities that prevent them from using conventional transit.
These resources are provided for informational purposes only. Under Angels Wings does not administer these programs. Eligibility, funding amounts, and program details may change at any time. We encourage visitors to visit each organization’s official website for the latest information.
